About

Kevin G. Foy’s journey through life was marked by courage, kindness, and a deep devotion to those he loved. Honorably discharged as a Sergeant E5, Kevin proudly served five years in the Army’s infantry, stationed in Vilseck, Germany, and bravely completing two tours in Afghanistan (2010–2011 and 2013–2014). His dedication and valor were recognized with numerous medals, ribbons, and awards—a testament to his unwavering commitment to his fellow soldiers and his country.

But Kevin’s legacy extends far beyond his military service. He was a devoted son, a loyal brother, a loving uncle, a proud father, and above all, a cherished friend. To know Kevin was to experience a brighter day—his presence alone could lift spirits and bring comfort. He found joy in simple moments, whether spending time with his brother, sharing laughter with close friends, or losing himself in thoughtful conversation about life’s big questions.

A natural tinkerer and lifelong learner, Kevin was always working on a project, curious about how things worked and eager to discover something new. He lived fully in each moment, generously offering help to anyone in need, never expecting anything in return. His warm smile and boundless kindness left a lasting impression on everyone he met.

Those who had the privilege of knowing Kevin agree: their lives were richer for it. He leaves behind a legacy of compassion, integrity, and love—a legacy that will continue to inspire all who remember him. Kevin’s absence is deeply felt, and the world is a little dimmer without his light. May his soul find peace, uplifted by the love he gave so freely.

Kevin is lovingly remembered by his daughter, Chloe Taylor; the mother of his child, Samantha Taylor; his mother, Gladys Foy; his siblings, Yvette Foy and Joe Foy; his nephew and nieces, Jadon Foy, Marissa, Jessica, Alyssa, and Vanessa Lamphere; and his beloved cat, Kitty. He is reunited in peace with his father, Joseph Sr., a Vietnam War Veteran, and his sister, Tiffany.
